TITAS is beyond excited to welcome back France’s incredible Ballet Preljocaj with their breathtaking work,?GRAVITÉ, an exploration of gravity. Hard to believe it’s been since 1998 that Preljocaj last wowed Dallas audiences! One of France’s most celebrated contemporary dance companies, we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring their world-renowned artistry back to the TITAS stage. Based in Aix-en-Provence, France, where Ballet Preljocaj is a national choreographic center. 

Angelin Preljocaj’s company is known for its bold, dramatic choreography—brought to life by stunningly skilled dancers and striking music. These performers are pure athleticism and artistry, and from the moment they step on stage, they own the audience. Captivating, boundary-pushing, and endlessly inventive, Ballet Preljocaj is a shining example of European contemporary dance at its finest. Their return to Dallas is long overdue, and trust us—you won’t want to miss it!

Every year, TITAS is excited to discover an artist of remarkable depth, yet still new to U.S. audiences. After 20 years performing on international stages with companies such as RUBBERBAND, Nederlands Dans Theater 2, Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Gulbenkian Ballet in Portugal, Plamondon took the leap into choreography in 2012, and the world has taken notice. Her work has been earning rave reviews across the globe, celebrated for both its technical brilliance and its genuine emotional depth. Unique, powerful, and deeply moving, TITAS is proud to present this company’s U.S. debut.

Hosting one of Taiwan’s most accomplished dance companies here in Dallas is a true honor.?BIRDY?draws inspiration from a wide range of artistic and cultural elements. HUNG DANCE, in Chinese (hung ?, lit. to fly) reflects the aspiration to soar. Seamlessly blending Chinese opera, mythology, and Tai Chi with contemporary dance,?BIRDY?fuses tradition and innovation.  

Cool lighting, electrifying movement, Hung Dance is captivating. And the features?! They are truly extraordinary. At its core,?BIRDY?explores the profound connections between humans and nature. Some of the most unforgettable moments are so striking they elicit audible gasps from the audience. We are deeply grateful to the Crow Museum of Asian Art of the University of Texas at Dallas for their continued support of Asian artists in the TITAS series.

Command Performance also features TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND commissioned works created specifically for this gala performance; works by some of the world’s leading choreographers such as Twyla Tharp, William Forsythe, Dwight Rhoden, Jessica Lang, Mia Michaels, as well as a special appearance in 2025 by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Compagnie Marie Chouinard wowed Dallas audiences just two seasons ago with the stunningly beautiful and wildly inventive?Garden of Earthly Delights. Chouinard herself is a powerhouse in the dance world—named Officière des Arts et des Lettres in France, a Bessie Award winner in New York, and the recipient of more than 30 top honors. 

Now, the company is back with?Magnificat, Chouinard’s latest creation, along with her legendary?Rite of Spring. Chouinard’s choreography is visually stunning and very musical—letting you see the music unfold right in front of you. Bold, brilliant, and completely innovative, Marie Chouinard is a true force in contemporary dance. We’re thrilled to welcome her company back to Dallas!

SAMA?is a powerhouse of a performance—bold, physical, and absolutely astonishing. It’s got this tribal energy, with dancers on stilts, others grounded barefoot, all moving through a world where the body becomes something more, something beyond. It’s new, it’s cool, it’s daring, it’s electric—and it is exactly why live performance is so thrilling. This will definitely be an experience, unique in the season. TITAS welcomes GALLIM to Texas!

MOMIX is always a wild ride—trippy, magical, and downright unforgettable. No wonder they’re a TITAS favorite!?BOTANICA?is a feast for the eyes and the perfect show for the whole family. This unique company has been dazzling audiences across the globe, carving out their own unique space on the world’s best stages. Others try to imitate, but there’s only one MOMIX—pure imagination, brought to life on stage. 

Last time, they wowed us with?ALICE, and now they’re back with?BOTANICA, a stunning journey through the rhythms of the seasons, the ever-changing shapes of life on Earth in the magic of a single day unfolding. With jaw-dropping costumes, breathtaking projections, and larger-than-life puppets designed by the legendary Michael Curry (yep, the genius behind Cirque du Soleil, Disney, and the Metropolitan Opera), this show is pure magic.
