MOMIX’s ALICE (USA)

MOMIX’s ALICE made its U.S. debut in the fall of 2020. It was such a spectacular and special production that TITAS is thrilled to bring back this extraordinary work. Spectacular, fantastical, and highly imaginative, nothing that compares to experiencing a ‘LIVE’ performance of ALICE. Moses Pendleton takes the audience on a fun adventure with Lewis Carroll’s most beloved character, Alice. Join us, MOMIX-style, as we launch the 2023:24 TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND season!

Sankai Juku (Japan)

Les 7 Doigts’ PASSAGERS (Canada)

Merging acrobatics and theatre, dance and multimedia, music and storytelling, this Canadian art collective turns the creativity of its artists, performers, engineers, and imagineers into a spectacle that must be experienced live. PASSAGERS is a fascinating work of dance and circus exploring chance vs. choice vs. destiny.

Complexions Contemporary Ballet (USA)

Always a TITAS Favorite, Complexions’ high-octane movement astonishes audiences by pairing its fierce evocative style with music ranging from David Bowie to Johann Bach. Led by dance icons Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson, Complexions Contemporary Ballet has awakened audiences to a new, exciting genre with their singular approach to reinventing dance and contemporary ballet.

Cie Hervé Koubi (France)

Fearless, powerful and ‘masculine beyond belief,’ Compagnie Hervé Koubi returns to Dallas with their new work, SOL INVICTUS. The score includes a composition by Swedish composer Mikael Karlsson, mixed with music excerpts by Steve Reich and digital composer Maxime Bodson. This utterly unique company debuted a few years ago with TITAS and struck the audience speechless—that is until the standing ovation.

Rennie Harris Puremovement (USA)

A winner of 3 Bessie Awards and a Shakespeare Theater Award, Rome & Jewels has been hailed as an Elizabethan masterpiece, reimagining Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in the streets of Philadelphia. Formed in 1992 by Dr. Rennie Harris, Puremovement – American Street Dance Theater pioneers a new genre, bringing theater, hip-hop and Street dance to the proscenium stage.

Parsons Dance (USA)

With their amazing energy and stunning artists, Parsons Dance always delivers. Works like Caught, one of the world’s most famous solos, exemplify this company’s energized, athletic, and joyous style. Parsons Dance is internationally renowned for creating and performing contemporary American dance. Their bold works and distinctive style have solidified them as one of the world’s leading dance companies and a perennial TITAS favorite.

Giordano Dance Chicago (USA)

Jazz dance is quintessentially American, and Giordano Dance Chicago is America’s original jazz dance company. Powerful, passionate and elegant, they occupy a singular position within the national and international dance communities, and TITAS is thrilled to welcome GDC in their Dallas Debut. Jazz dance owes so much to this exciting company, and you owe it to yourself to experience them live.

Vertigo

Vertigo is Jerusalem art at its best, blending modern dance and classical ballet to captivate audiences around the globe. Established in Jerusalem over 27 years ago by Noa Wertheim and Adi Sha’al, Vertigo Dance Company promotes artistic creation with a strong sense of ecological and social awareness. Their new work, Makom, meaning “place” in Hebrew, promises to be a Season Favorite.

Command Performance (Special Event)

Jaw-dropping and awe-inspiring, Command Performance presents the world’s leading companies and dancers in some of the most exciting, innovative and beautiful works being performed today. It also features pieces commissioned by TITAS specifically for this gala performance, including works by some of the world’s leading choreographers such as Twyla Tharp, Dwight Rhoden, Jessica Lang, Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, Bridget L. Moore, and WANG Yuanyuan. Truly, a not-to-be-missed event!

Micaela Taylor’s TL Collective (USA)

With rave reviews across the globe, TITAS is thrilled to bring this exceptional dancemaker to Dallas in their Texas debut. Ignited by her passion to create engaging, diverse work, Micaela Taylor founded the TL Collective in 2016. It is now on the rise, and their unique fusion of contemporary dance and theatrical hip hop has made them one of the hottest tickets in the contemporary dance world.
